About Flip Physics

In Flip Physics, a stunning somersault isn’t just about hitting the right button at the right time. You have to control your character’s movement, build up momentum on the bar, time your release, and change your stance in midair. One mistake can make your character spin too much or fall to the ground before the move is even done.

Thanks to the ragdoll physics, the character’s body moves naturally with each and every move. Each attempt is different thus you have to practise to learn how to get going, how to control the spin and how to approach the next bar.

Flip Physics Gameplay Walkthrough 2013

The fun thing about Flip Physics is that you don't just click one button to do the whole somersault. You have to synchronise multiple body postures to control the speed of rotation and the direction of movement. Hold the bar and swing steadily to gain momentum. Then let go at the perfect time, to send yourself into the air.

While in flight, contract your body to make your character spin faster . Extend your body to slow down the spin and change your posture . If you grab the following bar you can continue the sequence instead of ending the turn.

How to play the Flip Physics game?

Flip Physics

You can control your character using the mouse or keyboard on a computer. To build momentum while swinging on the bar, hold down the left mouse button, then release to let go. The J or up arrow key makes an arching stance, the K or down arrow key contracts your body and Space lets go. R restarts turn.

When you exit the bar, pay attention to which way your character is spinning and adjust posture accordingly. Don't attempt to do too many flips at once. You need to regulate it to prepare for the landing or the following grab.

Tips and Tricks to Win Flip Physics

Build up speed before you release: Take a few more swings to get a better launch strength.

Timing the release: Let go when the character is moving forward and upward.

Turn your body at the proper time: hold the curl to increase rotation speed, but don't overdo it.

Prepare your body for the landing: change your body position to avoid over-rotation and stay balanced.

Train each motion separately: If the flip doesn't work, only modify the timing of the release or the body position next time, not everything at once.

Flip Physics is a challenge for fans of physics-based sports games who wish to learn to master every action themselves. With practice you will be able to do more exact turns, get better streaks in your performance, and score better each time you turn.
